Sam Holden is the Assistant Teaching Professional at Golf Garage VT and NH and serves as Tournament Director for the Vermont Chapter of the PGA of America. With a decorated amateur background across both the Carolinas and Vermont, Sam brings a structured, supportive approach to helping golfers build confidence and make steady, measurable progress.
Sam brings a unique background of technology, golf operations, coaching and communcations. At Golf Garage, he focuses primarily on a wide range of player abilities, helping them simplify the game and develop skills from the green backward, with an emphasis on fundamentals that translate from the simulator to the course. Outside of coaching he manages member and guest communcations, retail and other operations at both the Burlington and Lebanon locations.

Player Development and Specialties
Sam specializes in coaching beginner and intermediate golfers and enjoys working with juniors and young players through fun, fundamentals-based development. His instruction emphasizes confidence building, short game and putting fundamentals, and clear progressions that support long-term growth.
He also works on tee-to-green skill development, helping golfers connect each part of their game through consistent ball striking, smarter decisions, and practice that translates from the indoor environment to the course.

At Golf Garage VT and NH, Sam delivers individualized coaching supported by modern training tools and a year-round indoor environment. In addition to instruction, he supports Golf Garage programming and retail, both online and in person, and helps guide the brand’s content and communication.
As a TrackMan Level 1 Certified instructor and Level 2 PGA Associate, Sam uses objective feedback to guide steady improvement while keeping the learning process simple, focused, and enjoyable.
